- Gather your supplies. You will need:
- A bottle of nail polish remover
- A cotton ball or swab
- A new bottle of nail polish
- A top coat (optional)
- Remove the old polish. Dip a cotton ball or swab in nail polish remover and gently wipe it over your nails. Be sure to get all of the old polish off.
- Apply the new polish. Use a thin coat of nail polish and allow it to dry completely. Then, apply a second coat. If desired, you can finish with a top coat.
